Practical support for everyday routines and tasks

Activities of Daily Living at HHWSS supports people with the practical routines that make everyday life work — things like personal care, household tasks, and daily organisation. Support is provided in the person’s own environment, with time to practise skills, build confidence, and maintain routines in ways that feel achievable and respectful.
Support may include personal routines, meal preparation, household tasks, managing appointments, transport planning, or organising daily schedules. The focus is always on what helps life run more smoothly day to day.
That depends on what’s needed at the time. Sometimes support involves hands-on help. Other times it’s about practising skills together so confidence and independence can build gradually.
That’s completely normal. Repetition is expected, not a problem. We’re comfortable working on the same routine over multiple sessions until it feels familiar and manageable.
Daily Living support works best when it aligns with other supports in your life. We stay in communication so routines, expectations, and goals don’t pull in different directions.
